Ok....update....

About two years ago my bike was serviced at the kawasaki dealers in kent near where my OH worked at the time, and OH now tells me that they ordered two new coils for my bike then on warranty, not because it needed them then, but because they said ER6's are notorious for problems with the coils and would need them at some point!

But OH never told me and never remembered to take bike back to get them replaced!  So he now rings the dealer in kent and asked where they are (two years later) Obviously they were surprised by the call and said the parts were long gone, but they did say they would order us some new one's at trade cost, £100 and have them sent to the dealers in crawley where my poor bike has been for a week now!

Ok, so they shouldnt have ordered them two years ago under warranty, and shouldnt have sold them on....but after two years they could have told us to get lost and it was partly my OH's fault for not going back at the time and at least it hasnt cost us £200+  like it could have, still gotta pay for fitting on top tho and the service

But the good news is that I should have my bike back by the weekend

And thank you Colin for looking into it for me, hopefully see you and the others in the summer!

Live for today...... Come from just outside Croydon & ride an 08 Kawasaki ER6N

Carol

Your welcome. Service bills are bad enough without unexpected additions, very good response from the dealer in Kent their are a few good ones out there. A £100 saving is not to be sniffed at I'm sure you can find a better use for it.

All the best
Colin
