Why register?
You need to register to post on the forum and to comment and vote on articles.
As a registered user you will be able to view the site photos, create your own photo gallery and even put your picture on the location map.
If you want to become a site contributor (writing articles or product reviews) you will need to register first.

Names
The display name will be the one that shows on the forum. Your user name will be the one you need to use to log in.
It's probably best to keep these the same, but if you want a more complicated forum name, then please remember your user name.

Please note: if you want to load an avatar (a picture for your fourm profile) then you can do this within the forum by clicking 'my settings' at the top and opening up the 'user settings' area.
