As a moderator, you are given rights to approve a lot of the contributed content on the site.
Being a moderator does not automatically allow you to moderate the forum. If you would also like to do this, then use the Contact page to ask, or send an email to site admin if you know the email address.
This is what you can moderate:
- Riding guides
- News
- Events
- Products
- The Bikegirl photo gallery
- Member's map
Email notifications
All moderating on the site is driven by emails. Every moderator will receive the same email, so that the task can be spread, and the contributor shouldn't have to wait too long for their content to show on the site.
All emails contain a link to take you directly to the page which allows you to view, edit and approve or delete the content. Just follow the link and follow the instructions. Please spell check and adjust the layout so it looks nice and reads well.
If you lost the email, or just want to log onto the site and moderate from there, then it takes a bit of time as you need to go into each of the content areas to moderate them.
Riding Guides, News and Products - review and approve
These are all moderated in the same way, but you need to visit the 'Add Riding Guide', 'Add News' or 'Add Product' page, they can't be moderated in one place.
Click on the moderate button.

This takes you to the moderator page which lists any articles in that section which need approval. You need to visit all three 'Add...' pages.
You can also view your own content from here.
Riding Guides, News and Products - edit
As a moderator you can't edit already approved content, so please contact site admin.
