Bikegirl Racing Team: Feisty Racing
Aim for 2004: Encourage girls to race with Feisty Racing
Aim for 2005: Flood the 2005 Bemsee grid with girls, get on the podium regularly
Aim for 2006: Run an all-girl championship
Aim for 2007: Second year of the all-girl chamionship

Why?

The face of Motorcycle Racing is a testosterone driven male dominated arena where very few women compete, and even fewer succeed. In our modern world of equality where a woman can sail solo around the world and women compete in major sports at the highest levels, this failure to break into the field of Motorsport is a little incongruous… and we intend to change that.
An increase in female competition will lead to a growth in female interest in the sport which will lead to improved female particpation in road riding.

How?
We aim to encourage women into motorcycle racing by creating an all-girl rookie championship with a high profile, both within and outside the motorcycling industry. We are operating a 3 year plan to ensure that the effort works. The aim is to take the cream of the girls to the British Championships and beyond competing against a grid of men.

Who?
We have already built a sizeable all-girl race team, Feisty Racing, with our first full season of club racing starting in March 2005. This team will form the basis of the championship and will be used to promote the all-girl series to the rest of the world.
We intend to run trials to select more women for the championship, and we already have 30 more women who are interested in taking part in these trials.

When?
The all-girl championship will run for the first time in 2006 and again in 2007. The future of the series will depend on the success of the first two years..
