Ben Bostrom

Status: Young, free and single, oh yes ladies!! Ben usually dates slim and lovely models. He was with slightly nutty lingerie model, Leann Tweeden for a while. More recently there was Kat with the everlasting back. Not sure if he's seeing anyone at the moment... perhaps now's your chance?! Usually found: Outside racing he's mostly climbing or playing with his cars, bikes and other toys with his brother Eric. Bikegirl lickability: 10+

His Career:
Ben Bostrom's biking career started with dirt track, motocross and trail riding aged 8 (how many of us are jealous?). He comes from a bike-mad family in California; his dad and uncle raced; his mum owned Honda dealerships; his brother Erik is a prominent Superbike racer in the U.S.
Dirt tracking on a Harley 883 in '95, Ben moved on to Supersport 600s in '96. In '98 he won the US Superbike title on a Honda RC45, then in '99 came second in the same championship on a Ducati with Vance & Hines. He won a WSB round at Laguna Seca and got himself a WSB ride for 2000. After a dodgy start with the factory Ducati team, he got ditched to the L&M Ducati team and then started gathering wins, with 5 wins in a row in 2001 and looking like a real contender for the title. Unfortunately it all went to pot in 2002 and he was out of the world series and back to AMA. Which is where he still remains, along with being a Supermoto star in the winter months.
We miss him and hope he comes back to participate again - if there's still a WSB series to come back to!
