cos suddenly there are 'think bike' adverts on the TV and
radio... i'm daring to feel a little optomistic that better
weather could be just around the corner. and there's been a
definite increase in the amount of bikes i'm seeing go thru
town.
or am i getting carried away just cos we've had 2 sunny
days??

No, I think that Spring is definitely coming. It's much lighter in the mornings when the alarm goes off, there are buds on the trees in my back garden (although no sign of my daffodils), and it's not quite as cold as it has been! Bring on the spring.

It's still very cold at night, but I think it is on its way. Went to look at bikes yesterday, and think I now know what I'm going for Suzuki GS500. Its very comfy for me and the seat has been lowered. So keep your fingers crossed for me.

Hi Bodeacia
I have a GS500F - it's very easy and comfy to ride. It is my first bike
and has been lowered - but looking to move up and engine size or two
now - shame we are not closer as you could have taken a look to see
if you were interested !!

Thanks girls. The bummer won't accept the book price!!! Greedy sod. Never mind there will be another. Tried out all sorts of bikes on Monday, and the GS500 seemed to be the best fit! So will just have to wait a while.

Thanx for the offer scoobie, but I have just bought a GS500. It was supposed to have been delivered last night to my friends house (because I have not told OH yet). Not heard anything yet so I will just have to keep waiting. Hope it did arrive. Will keep you all informed.

Spring must definately be on the way.. I'm seeing 'Think Bike' on the over head motorway signs now plus things in my garden are starting to grow again and it was warm and dry enough for me to take my new blade out for the first time

Just been out for a spin, was ok first off, then stopped for coffee, got back on bike and it was freezing!!! Rode home shivering most of the way, couldnt feel fingers when we got back!! Guess it was my fault for assuming it would be warmer and not wrapping up enough
