Nicole started racing in Mini-Motos when she was 8 years old, and for two years was the runner up in the Irish Championship. During this time she also took 14th and 16th places in the British Mini-Moto Championship.

She then progressed up to 50cc machines and spent half a year here and finished 9th in this Championship.

On turning 13 she graduated up into the Irish Clubman’s ranks in the 125GP Clubman’s Championship were she stayed for a year, before moving over to the English racing scene where she had planned to race in the 125 GP MRO Championship, but after only one round the 125 Championship was dropped. Determined to stay racing in England, Nicole joined the British Superbike Championship midway through the season. She joined the ranks of this championship and spent the rest of the season learning the circuits in Britain. During her first full year in the British Championship’s she finished 15th at Snetterton and then 10th at Knockhill that year.

Last year having now learnt all the circuits Nicole was hopeful for some strong finishes but unfortunately the mechanical gremlins were to prove a problem and she was finishing most of the time in the low 20’s, but this year with new machinery and a new team, the school girl is aiming to be the first female on the rostrum in the British 125GP Championship.

Plans for 2008

For the 2008 season Nicole has signed for the highly successful SP125 Racing team, which is run by the former 125cc & 250cc British Champion and ex Grand Prix rider, Steve Patrickson who’s team claimed the 2007 British 125 GP Championship.

Nicole and the team will be preparing for the upcoming season by going to Spain on the 26th February for some pre season testing, before kick starting the season at Easter during the British Superbike Championship test weekend, two weeks before the start of the 2008 season.

Nicole is hoping to turn a disappointing 2007 into a fantastic 2008 were she is planning to make all her family, team, sponsors and fans proud.
