CMC Bikegirl Ladies Open Day, Saturday 2nd July 2005 - 9am to 5:30pm

Bikegirl is joining forces with MCN's Dealer of the Year, Midlands based CMC Motorcycles to bring you an open day specifically aimed at ladies. CMC are particularly keen to make sure that not only do they stock suitable clothing and cater for the vertically challenged amongst us, but they want to make their showrooms less intimidating for the new and slightly unsure female motorcyclist or wannabe motorcyclist.

Members of Feisty Racing will be attending the Open Day to answer any technical or race related questions. We are also mainly experienced bikers so can help out with all sorts of advice as well as regaling you with our biking and racing stories. The rookies will have competed 6 races at 3 weekends by the Open Day so we may even have some trophies or bruises to show you!

Ladies
, come along to try out the latest female clothing and equipment and to try out lowered bikes.
Lads, take your girlfriend or missus along if you think this might help persuade her from your pillion onto her own bike.

We'll add to this list and confirm as we go along, but expect to see:

Celebreties tba
Bikes with suspensions lowering kits fitted to try out: R6, CBR600F1, SV650 (you'll need to bring your licence - no pre-booking)
BSM Try a Learner Bike
team members
Frank Thomas ladies range of leathers
Alpinestar range of ladies gear
Knoxx ladies back protectors
Female CMC staff to help with products and bikes
Monza World Superbike qualifying on TV
The MCN Sofa - debate topic tba
Prizes during the day
Refreshments

We plan to do an all-female road test of the lowered bikes (R6, CBR600F1, SV650) in conjuction with MCN, so you can ask us what we thought before you try them out for yourselves.

CMC will be adding Bikegirl stands in their showrooms so there is a specific female focus with information leaflets in each branch. I personally think they are very forward thinking and soon all dealers will need to follow their example to cater for our every growing interest in the world of motorbikes.
