Feisty Racing Ladies Track Day at Donington 17th October 2007
With the racing season over and a little time before the onset of winter, Feisty Racing called upon female bikers again to take to the track. The Feisty Fiesta at Mallory in July was a resounding success, with 40 girls mostly new to the track enjoying sunshine and entertainment. Many wanted to taste the track again so we had 20 girls booked on to experience the Donington GP circuit on a cold autumn day.
Unfortunately the day dawned damply, so the novice ladies were cautioned to take care during the extra pre-track briefing. We had a few incidents in the damp, mostly instructors, and only one female faller. The track dried out around lunchtime which made the riders more confident, in fact we had some pretty fast girls out there.
Tracy Kenneford said: “thanks to everyone involved in organising the track day, and a special thanks to the Feisty lady (Amanda Wake) that had the patience to take me round the track!”. Tracy was named the most improved rider of the day having overcome her fears.
Esther said “what a fantastic time I had at Donington on Saturday! Really enjoyed thrashing my standard cbr600f round... roll on the next one."
