Some of the Nottingham group
after a breakfast at Bardill's Garden Centre
The idea for the run was dreamed up
by Tig, who then had a few volunteers including Hefa
help him to organise the event. The idea was to get
groups of riders from all over the country to ride
to the Motorcycle Musuem at Solihull, joining up as
they got closer to the museum.
We rode in from Nottingham, having
gathered at Bardill's Garden Centre. We took in a
few leafy lanes, got rained on, witnessed some large
diesel deposits, gathered some Lichfield riders then
took a longer break at Bassett's Pole to join other
groups.

Bassett's Pole
We tore the group from their burger
and fries to finish the journey onto the museum where
hundreds of bikers had already gathered. Donations
were gathered (our group raised £225 in Notts),
then the auction was started by Nick from Hawk Kawasaki.
Well done to Tig (who looked very
frazzled!) and all the other helpers who achieved
so much in such a short space of time. And well done
everyone for joining in and doing your bit.
